The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Cuttack Bench was established vide Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2659 dated 12 July 2018, issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii). The Bench was inaugurated on 15 March 2019 by Hon’ble Shri Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Javeri, former Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, and Hon’ble Shri Justice Mahesh Mittal Kumar, former President of the NCLT. The Bench commenced functioning on 18 March 2019 with one Court Room, presided over by Hon’ble Member (Judicial) Shri Madan B. Gosavi. The Cuttack Bench exercises jurisdiction over two States, namely Odisha and Chhattisgarh. The Bench ordinarily conducts its sittings from Monday to Friday, commencing at 10:30 A.M.
