Smt. Anu J. Singh (1985 batch, Indian Revenue Service) retired as Member (Legislation & Systems), Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Ministry of Finance, Government of India. During her 36-year tenure in the Income Tax Department, she handled matters relating to tax policy, legislation, and tax administration. She led the implementation of the Faceless Assessment Scheme and the launch of the new Income Tax Portal. Additionally, she served on deputation to the Government of India as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Science & Technology.
