Shri Bacchu Venkat Balram Das Enrolled as an Advocate with the Orissa State Bar Council in January 1986 and practiced in the Orissa High Court till September 1991. From October 1991 till December 1994, practiced in the Supreme Court of India. Joined the Central Agency Section, Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice, Supreme Court of India, as Assistant Government Advocate on 4th January, 1995.From April 2016 to July 2017, worked as Presiding Officer, Employees' Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, and also held additional charge of EPFO at Delhi for a period of three weeks during April-May 2017. Thereafter, repatriated to the Central Agency Section in July 2017, consequent upon the merger of Tribunals. Worked as Additional Government Advocate till appointment as Member (Judicial), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), New Delhi Bench.
