Shri Ashish Verma, was born on 01.01.1962. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree in 1982 and worked in the engineering sector for five years before joining the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) in 1987. He served in the Income Tax Department until 31.12.2021, retiring as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax. He subsequently joined the National Company Law Tribunal as Member (Technical) on 18.11.2022 and is currently posted at the Allahabad Bench.
