Smt. Reena Sinha Puri, an IRS officer of the 1987 batch, has extensive experience in the Income Tax Department both in India and abroad. As Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, she led the National Faceless Assessment Centre and played a key role in formulating and implementing policies for faceless tax assessments. She has also served as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministries of Coal, Mines, and Corporate Affairs and represented the Government of India as Director on the Boards of Coal India Limited, Northern Coalfields Limited, Central Coalfields Limited, Hindustan Zinc Limited, and Bharat Aluminium Company Limited. Smt. Reena Sinha Puri holds a Law degree from the University of Delhi, a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Political Science from Panjab University.
