Ms. Bidisha Banerjee was was enrolled with the Bar Council of West Bengal on 29.07.1995. She served as Junior Counsel for the Railways from 1998 and as Standing Counsel (Senior Group) for the Railways from 2006 to 2010. She was appointed as Judicial Member in the Central Administrative Tribunal on 22.09.2011 and served in that capacity from 22.09.2011 to 15.11.2022 at Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and also at the Principal Bench, Guwahati, Chennai, and Allahabad for a brief period. During her tenure, she disposed of more than 17,000 cases. She also served as Head of Department of the Patna Bench, Kolkata Bench, Andaman & Nicobar Circuit Bench, Ranchi Circuit Bench, etc., from 2014 onwards.
